ARTIST STATEMENT
Valerie Gray is a recent arrival to New Mexico. A self-taught artist born in Louisville, Kentucky, she has been painting for nearly 38 years. Refusing private lessons and shying away from college, her art remains the outward expression of her soul. A mother of three, she lives peacefully with her loving husband, youngest son, and five furried friends.
